Shaving oil – Bold

I've been using shaving oil instead of shaving cream for a few years, and about year and half ago I started mixing up my own mixes, both to save a little money and as an outlet for my massive creativity. I use shaving oil on it's own, but many people rub it in as a pre-shave conditioner a couple of minutes before applying traditional shaving cream.

My last batch ran out a few weeks ago, and I've been using the remains of my first-ever batch since.  It's more than serviceable, but I was ready for something new.

Today's mix is called Bold.  (Like nail polish colors, every shaving oil really deserves its own pretentious name...)  It has more essential oils to give it a stronger scent, and splits the base into 1 part Vitamin E oil and 3 parts Jojoba oil.

• ¼ ounce vitamin E oil
• ¾ ounce jojoba oil
• 5 drops lemon oil
• 5 drops orange oil
• 3 drops tea tree oil
• 2 drops eucalyptus oil
• 2 drops peppermint oil

I'll report back in a few days, after I've had a chance to use it a few times.
